Question: Assume you are given the following title “essential components of
human communication.” Prepare an essay and show you would comply with
the qualities of good essay. (individual send to the email by 7 th Feb,2022.)

Human communication, These refers to all basic elements which are considered when
communicating one another, When we talk about communication here we mean two-way
process of reaching mutual understanding in which participant not only exchange information
but also create and share meaning. Also communication intents effort from both the sender
and the receiver of communication and understanding the essence of communication. In
ensuring the communication is in a good way the following essential components should be
Sender/encoder, this refers to the person who sends the message .A sender makes use of
symbols to convey the message and produce the required response. For instance –a training
manager conducting training for new batch of employees. Sender may be an individual or group
or an organization; the views, background, approach, skills, competencies and knowledge of the
sender have a great impact on the message. So for communication to occur then the presence
of the sender is required.

Feedback, is the main component of communication process as it permit the sender to

analyse the efficacy of the message. It help the sender in confirming the correct interpretation
of message by the receiver. Feedback may be verbal or non-verbal. For example it may take
written form also in form of memos and report and etcetera.

Message, it is the expression which can be through signs and symbols. Symbols here
denote the verbal mode; or the use of words whereas the signs are non-verbal. For example it
is intended idea, thought; desire, purpose that the sender wants to communicate .It is the sign
or symbol that elicit the response of recipient.

Medium, Is the mean though which the encoded message travel or get transmitted. It

can be e-mail, face to face or phone conversations, letter and as few to mention. The sending
and feedback Chanel's may not be necessary the same. Not only that but also the types of
communication can be formal or informal communication is an important aspect in choosing
the most appropriate Chanel for communication. For example an medium is chosen when
spontaneous feedback is required from the recipient as misunderstanding are deared then and
there.

Decoder , refer to the person who received the message from the recipient. Here the decoder
understand the message is depends on various factor such as a knowledge of recipients or
encoder. It will be to receiver to understand what sender by looking the chanel used by . Also
apart from that when the decoder rich to mutual understand make the presence of communication
to be available between two sides and to that the aims of communicating success. For example
when two sides use the same chanel which is face to face conversation and rich into mutual
understand here we can say the communication aim success.

By conclusion , I can say that, by looking those components above human communication can
successed between two sides. But communication also can be fail to rich into mutual understand
when same factor affects human communication to be happen and such it includes; physical
barrier, semantic barrier , information overlord , culture barrier and lack of common experience.
But all factor can solved by reducing all factor to happen during and after the communication
process .
