organisation. The article describes how it is important to motivate employees as they improve

their performances by motivation. That means that when employees are motivated the effect

employees forms a perception of the employees past performances (Kamphorst & Swank

2018). The article has revealed that cheap talks statements about the performances of the

employees are very crucial and they may contain the information that is needed by the

employees. In a wide range of parameters the management always tend to give positive

feedback appraisals. Moreover, a positive appraisal from the management tends to motivate

the employees rather than the negative appraisals. The motivation effects of the appraisals to

the employees depend on the reputation of the management in assessing the performances of

they need. The article agrees with the concept of employees’ motivation and how

empowerment and appreciation is important in motivating employees.

Biblical integration

Employee motivation through appreciation, appraisals and empowerment has been

clearly stated in the bible. The book of Mathew 25; 23 explains how a man who was given

five talents came to his master showing how he multiplied his talents five times. According to

the book the master was very pleased with the servant and showed his appreciation. The

master said to the servant that “well done good and faithful servant you have been faithful

with a little thing i will put you in charge of many things come and share your masters

happiness. The verse clearly shows how the master was happy and appreciated the servant

putting him in charge of many things.
