Summary of Strengths and Areas of Possible Growth

Strengths: As a novice teacher my strengths include building genuine relationships with my grade team, colleagues, staff,
students and their families. Communication is essential and I work at communicating with all related parties. Our school has
updated its SST to the new CIM and this was a beneficial and great learning experience for me as we come out of two years of
learning loss and disrupted learning. I have a better understanding of the referral process. I share resources and knowledge
from my own research, credential and grad program. I am hardworking and open to new ideas and strategies.

Growth areas: As a novice teacher areas I wish to improve are learning the standards and skills needed for upper primary.
Third is a bridge and I want to make sure I am building a strong foundation. I would like to attend PD in math and reading in
OC and share knowledge learned with my grade team. My community at my school is very small and everyone knows
everyone. I don’t live in the city and want to strengthen my ties by becoming more involved in local activities.
