in this rapidly growing aviation market some changes are inevitable. This paper
describes the advantages and effectiveness of implementing Total Quality
Management principles among this increasing competitiveness within the Aviation
Industries in terms of Service and Quality of the maintenance. Given the size, nature
and complexity of the industry, there is always the prospect of problems, unforeseen
circumstances and resistance in the maintenance sector. In order to fill this gap, an
analysis into the cause of TQM implementation in Aviation maintenance sector is
truly needed. This in fact will establish a link between TQM and maintenance
performance, thus highlights the need of adopting Total Quality Management
principles in Maintenance.
