Support Case Description


WestRock looking to initiate the SAP Runs on AWS platform with current/existing landscape, which
include SAP application and DB2 migration from On premise (Data Center) to AWS (cloud) platform.
We would like to know – What are the pre-requests steps, requirements and resources, Risk,
Interfaces, and other supports are needed to initiate the next AWS Migration phase.

Also, any new SAP license, DB2 License any other procurement needs to be in line, then how we
can proceed to next steps.

Here are the responses to your questions.
1. For the licenses you can always generate them. If you need any assistance for this, please let me
know and we can go over the process
2. With the pre-requisites, risks, process, compatibility etc, your team has to do the entire research
and analysis. This has to be worked out with the vendor helping you with the migration. We do

have Cloud services, but who may provide some overview/assistance but not at the level you are
asking.
3. Based on the method you choose (lift and shift or export/import) you may need installation SW.
