Looking at the virtue ethics of Aristotle, do you think Aling Elena was really happy with her decision?

Yes
or no? why? What should have been done by Aling Elena for her to experience true happiness?

According to Aristotle,” a happy individual is one who lives in accordance with reason, and each
individual should develop the virtues (character traits and dispositions) that lead to this goal of achieving
the highest good.” To exercise true happiness, one must function according to his essence. To have an
essence is to make use of rational and moral thinking. In conclusion, Aling Elena made a decision
without proper reasoning. Her decision was made without the use of her essence; thinking excellent use
of reason. Thus, she is unhappy. Aling Elena should have critical and moral thinking before reasoning.
Aling elena prioritized her wants before something irreplaceable and cannot be bought which is life.
Moreover, she was dishonest when she stated she has no money. She is not a moral person due to the
fact that she did not make a virtue as the defining feature of her being.
