1.

The story entitled A Coup of Tea is all about the story of a

guy who came from an impecunious family and his childhood
friend who has the same situation with him. The guy named
Levi stopped from studying because of having financial
problems as he’s just from an underprivileged family. During
summer vacation, he decided to make a sideline which is
selling tea to earn money for the upcoming enrollment. One
day, he delivered his customers' pre-ordered teas and one of
his customers inspired him. That customer sees herself to
Levi because she came from a poor family who stopped her
studies for her younger siblings. He got inspired by looking
at how successful his customer is after hearing her story and
how she thrived to rise from poverty. Levi received a
message from his friend asking what he’s doing while on
vacation. Later on, he and his friend decided to try applying
in telecom as call center agents and they both got hired.
They did a good job in their company as a result, fast
forward to 3 years after of hard work, they went to the bank
to check their earnings and the manager congratulated them
because they earned so much money enough to support
themselves to go to school. After that, Levi and his friend
wrote an admission letter to the university that they wanted
to enroll in. They chose the Business Management course
because they both want to venture the world of business
field.
2. I came up with the flow of the story through making a list of
the possible scenarios I want my story to portray. I just wrote
a story that many students can relate to the situation. As we
all know there are a lot of students who are going through
the same as Levi. Especially now that we are dealing with
the new normal system, in the modern ambience of learning.
Students are looking for any probable source of income just
to provide their daily necessities and school financials
despite of the crisis brought by the pandemic. Moreover, I
made sure that the story has a beginning, a plot, and an end
through making a list of its storyline and an easy to follow
plot.

3. As the writer who wrote the story, I was also determined to

reach my goals even though there are numerous possibilities
and chances that while on the road to reach these goals, I
will be faced with challenges. Honestly, the thing that I am
frightened me the most is that getting to the end of my life
and feeling like I haven't reached my full potential, that I
haven't harnessed the inner resources that exist within me.
Consequently, this motivates me to do well in life to be a
professional someday and to be successful, so that I have
no regrets later on. A character from the drama I watched
once said, “Do your best not to regret the choices you make.
because regrets are pointless. there’s no crying over spilled
milk. all you can do is slowly fill the glass up again.”
 4. I want my readers to learn that if they want to achieve a
better way of living than what they currently have now, they
must not rush the process, but rather take every step
towards reaching their goal. Success in life will not happen
overnight, we need to work hard for it. You don’t have to see
the whole staircase, just have courage and determination to
take the first step, then the rest will follow. Furthermore,
following your dreams is a big risk to take, but one that’s
always worth it. Don’t afraid to fall it is part of the journey,
those obstacles will add flames to the torch you are carrying
while tracking the right path for you. But if you can’t see that
said path, make one for yourself and always fight for your
way to success for you to burn with the brightest flames. In
the end, you only fully own the things you earned during the
process.

Mendoza, and here today looking forward talking with you in
connection with my self-made short story which I entitled A coup
of tea. Moreover, I will narrate to you the summary of the story
and eventually answer some questions regarding the content of it.

From here on, I would like to share how did I come up to the flow
of the story, what did I feel while I am crafting it, and convey some
of the lessons you can acquire from the said short story.
