Part – 1
Questions, asked to almost all students
The city where I live is Shahabad Markanda. It’s located in the north of India.
Well, it’s famous for the Panorama Museum which is located in the heart of the city. And yeah,
Markandeshar Temple is also a worth visiting place. Tourists tend to flock there to worship lord
Shiva, especially on weekends. If you could do only one thing in Shahabad, I would recommend
going to the temple.
Of course, my city is a great place to live as it has all the necessary facilities and amenities available.
On top of that, the place is surrounded by greenery which actually makes it one of the most peaceful
cities to live in Haryana. And what I love the most is the 24x7 public transport system. You can easily
hop a bus even at midnight.
)
3. Is that a big city or a small place?
In terms of area, it’s not that big but yeah one can have easy access to entertainment facilities as
well as a variety of shopping outlets.
5. Do you think you will continue living there for a long time?
I think so, yes. Actually, my parents and extended family live here and I well connected with them.
So, I would live in Shahabad in future as well but yeah I may be visiting to some other country for a
short period of time. Just to boost my career.
OR
I don’t think so; actually, I am planning to continue my studies in Canada. But yeah I’ll surely come
back after the completion of my course and continue to live with my parents.
Many new buildings have sprung up compared to the past. Even there has been increased
urbanization, better quality housing, and higher living standards.
Yup…, the place where I live is in a leafy suburb which can be found on the outskirt of the city.
It’s not an ordinary house. Actually, it’s a bungalow which has 4 master bedrooms with en-suite
bathrooms. The most interesting part of my house is the garden at front which is well equipped
with some swings for the kids and exercise equipment for adults.
Woo, my favourite one is the living room. That’s the one, where I spend my most of time in. This
room is more of the home theatre room because a big cutting edge led as well as home theatre
is installed there.
That’s an interesting question. One wall has around 10 to 15 photo frames with some interesting
quotes which actually make the real party atmosphere. Other one is decorated with some
decors and light. To be honest, the interior of that room is designed according to my taste.
5. What can you see from the windows where you live?
)
The windows give a wonderful view of the nature especially in the early morning when sun
rises and cool air is breezing. On top of that There is big banyan tree just right in front of my
house literally enhance the beauty of the view. One can take mind blowing shots every day
from the windows my house.
There is only one main thing that I dislike is the terrace. It’s always full with unnecessary
stuff. I really hate it.

Describe a family member that did something that made you feel proud
In regards to the given topic, today, I am going to talk about Mr. Teg Singh who is a grandfather of
mine.
If I talk about his physical appearance and personality, though he’s in his early 70s, he is physically
fit and active.
What I like the most about him is that he always dresses up to nines.
Frankly speaking, Mr. Singh is arguably the most kind and helpful person I’ve ever met.
It’s a matter of couple of months back, due to the corona pandemic, my country was in a state of
lockdown.
Many businesses had shut down and some were at the verge of extinction.
Instead of saving people’s life, most of the hospitals were minting money.
Poor people were struggling for even getting the basic treatment.
Seeing this unfortunate situation, Teg decided to offer free medical treatment to people.
He turned his big yoga practice hall into a hospital, where needy people were provided with not only
medication but also food.
Even he taught some breathing exercises as well as home remedies to boost the immunity.
)
Obviously, at first, I was nervous and afraid, but after seeing his dedication and determination, I
really felt proud on my grandfather.
It was a proud moment to see, unlike others, without even charging a single penny; he saved the
lives of more than 100 people.
