ANSWERS:

1. Andy Andrews's book "How do you kill 11 million "is immediately written for American
voters, but the message is for everyone. The book is printed for a neutral audience. He
claims that lying is a deadly weapon that is reliable for the evil happening in the world. In
this book, he indicates the outgrowths of lies and the importance of the truth. He
explicitly states how lies ruin our world without us recognizing it. He proved that lying is
the major reason for so much suffering in the world and everyone is a culprit. Lying has
been normalized in our world today; parents tell lies to their children, and children tell
lies to their parents; even our religious leaders that preach the truth are also caught in this
act. I agreed with Andy Andrews when he said, "The absence of truth has placed us in
bondage" the word of God also confirms that lying enslaves man. No wonder it is on the
list of what God hates. We cannot ignore that lying puts us in fetters, and only truth can
liberate us. Andy Andrews states the facts and does not confuse them with belief. As
stated in the book how 11million lives were lost simply because they have lied too. He
backed this up with the Nazi regime story. There is no doubt those lives were lost
because they believed in Adolph Hitler's lies. He opposed the view that history is not the
same as the past. However, people think it the same. He defined the past as accurate and
true, while history is what is written about the past. In other words, history is merely what
someone recorded, while the past is what someone experienced. He focused on using
actual events to supports his opinion, which is very convincing. His tone was
straightforward and emotional. His style of writing was professional. During the war,
Nazi military forces rounded up and executed 11 million victims they deemed inferior or
undesirable—“life unworthy of life”—Jews, Slavs, homosexuals, and Jehovah’s
Witnesses. Hitler had excellent authority as führer (leader or guide) but could not have
ascended to power or perpetrated such atrocities independently. He actively supported the
influential German officer position and millions of everyday residents who voted for the
National Socialist German Workers’ (Nazi) Party and acclaimed him as a national hero in
enormous stadium rallies.
2. Andy Andrews is a good writer that knows how to analyze his point of view, using Ethos,
Pathos, Kairos, and Logos to convince his audience. In the book's first paragraph, he uses
ethos to introduce himself and correct people's assumptions about who he is. "However, I
am not and us or them kind of person, and I am more of a we person." This statement he
used to clarify the misconception about him. His pathos was strong. It is hard not to get
emotional while reading the book. Describing the Nazi incident is emotional and was a
significant way of proving how dangerous lying could be in his argument. The people
were deceived and forced to believe a lie simply because they were told what they needed
to hear, which led to their death instead of survival. Throughout the book, he supported
his argument with logos. He made use of the passage from the book, "Make the lie big,
make it simple, and keep saying it and eventually they will believe it" from this
statement, the weapon used to destroy that amount of lives was by lying to them. It can
also happen in the future, and it is a volatile scenario that a scenic patriarch of each
country is lying and results in chaos. The most sensible thing to prevent this kind of thing
is trust and loyalty and might as well as respect.
3. When we are young, we all have been taught not to tell lies and that we should always
speak the truth, It is straightforward to speak lies, but if one knows the beauty of truth, I
think one will always follow the path of the truth. The first and most benefit of speaking
the truth is that it provides immense peace and satisfaction. When someone speaks lies,
the consciousness of the person pokes him every time he has spoken a lie, which disturbs
the person's inner peace. Nothing counts more than the inner satisfaction and peace of the
person. When someone speaks the truth, he never faces this situation. He is always at
ease and has a perpetual smile on his face, reflecting his satisfaction and peace. The
actual definition of a lie and the truth never states that hurt is a positive outcome of one or
the other. We solely associate lies with evil; ironically, because the truth is that most of
the point, lying does cause havoc. Still, it is irrational to associate all lies with causing
harm. Moreover, we cannot say that telling the truth always brings out the goodness in
every people.
4. The famous saying I believe in is that experience is the best teacher, and from that
experience, we can get life lessons. Those Lessons help us be better people and prepare
for the more significant problems to come. A lesson in our lives encourages, motivates,
and gives strength.
5. Life is so ironic. Whenever our friends have problems, we can quickly advise them,
but when the time comes that we are the ones who have a problem, we cannot even give a
piece of advice for ourselves. There will be times when you encounter many problems
and difficulties to feel that you are so vulnerable. Whenever I have problems, I easily get
affected and worried. Nevertheless, I always keep in mind that those problems we face
are just a preparation for the bigger ones to come. It serves as an exercise for us to be
strong. I learned to trust myself in whatever I may face. Problems are always there to
twist our lives and turns through our journey. I also compare myself by saying she is
beautiful, intelligent, sexy, white, and talented. While others say I am not beautiful, I am
simple, not so intelligent, skinny, dark skin complexion, and not so talented. The essential
lesson of my life so far is to believe in myself. You do not have to be the best among all
others, but you will be at your best if you will be yourself. I believed in myself. It
reminds me of a passage, "The best way out is always through." ― Robert Frost. It is
okay to be scared because being scared means you are about to do something brave.
