1. Regularly eat healthy foods and have a balanced diet.
In order to combat malnutrition here in the Philippines, proper food intake should be exercised by each person. Eating junk foods and not nutritious one’s should be eliminated. Aside from this, maintaining a healthy lifestyle by exposing oneself to a balanced diet is also one of the major solutions to solve the low food intake.
2. Mental health condition
Mental health conditions affect the appetite of a person. In order to seek this problem, we should have adequate intake of energy and nutrients just like folic acid, thiamine, and cobalamin in order to address this effect. Another way around is to tell your problem and let others help you solve it.
3. Digestive disorder and stomach conditions
Digestive disorders and stomach conditions which causes the body not to absorb nutrients efficiently. The main solution to this problem is to eat healthy foods and always keep track on everything we eat. Proper care for our digestive system is still the best solution, if we failed to uphold this. This will result to loss of appetite which may cause in adequate food intake leading to poor health and eventually to malnutrition.
