BALER, AURORA

Baler is famous for its surfing spots, offering some of the best waves you can catch in
Asia. But there's more to this town than surfing. With tons of amazing places to visit, you
will never run out of fun things to do in Baler. From laid back to thrilling activities, this
town has a lot to offer.

Sabang Beach is the most frequented and popular Baler surfing spot because of its soft
sand and thrilling waves that could reach up to 14 ft. during peak Baler surfing season.
There are many resorts, bars and restaurants lined in the two-kilometer stretch of beach.

The 600-year old Balete Tree, Towers more than five stories high. It is said that it would
take 60 people holding hands with arms outstretched to encircle it. Locals claim that
it's the largest tree of its kind in Asia
Dicasalarin Cove is a
secluded white sand beach where
the verdant Sierra Madre
foothills meet the Pacific
Ocean. Dark, thickly forested

white shoreline. It's

 DAGUISIT FALLS
The Daguisit Falls this small
falls cascades through a cliff emptying in a
kettle-like rock down below, then cascades down
again along boulders leading to the basin near
the road and on to the sea

AMPERE BEACH
.Ampere beach presents a rock-y shoreline
with rock formations. The waves hitting the
shore and the gorgeous sun rays are such a
beautiful view. This may not be a perfect
place to swim but this is the perfect place to
just sit, relax, appreciate the beach and reflect.

MUSEO DE BALER
A basic museum that tells the history of
Aurora Province, mostly via photos of the life
of former First Lady Dona Aurora who was
born in Baler; she gave name to the region and
is held responsible for the right of women to
vote in the Philippines.
