Psalm100:5
For the Lord is good
and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Last week we talked about, practical suggestions to consider as you praise the Lord. Psalms 103:-1-5
Psalm of David.
103 Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destructions. Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

I. Forget not his benefits.

II. Be vocal and grateful in your praise
III. Acknowledge that He forgives our iniquities and heal our diseases.
IV. Be aware that He gives us purpose in living
V. : Know that He satisfies you with good things
Today, I will continue my talks on Thanksgiving. In Psalm 100:5
For the Lord is good
and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Why we need to give thanks to God?
This verse offers three reasons for thanking and praising the Lord (Psalm 100:5).

3 Reasons why we need to give Him thanksgiving

1. He is good. Pag moingon tag good meaning, He always does what is best for His children.
As the one and only necessary being (Exodus 3:14), Ug mitubag ang Dios kang Moises: AKO MAN ANG MAO AKO: Ug
miingon siya: Mao kini ang igaingon mo sa mga anak sa Israel: AKO MAN, mao ang nagsugo kanako nganha kaninyo.

Nahum 1:7
"The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him."

Mark 10:18 And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone."

Psalm 34:8
"O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!"

Psalm 145:9
"The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works."
He is the very definition of all which is right, true, and righteous.

2. His love is steadfast.

This concept comes from the Hebrew root word he'sed, sometimes rendered as "lovingkindness." Steadfast means unwavering, a
loyal, enduring, sacrificial, deep love.

A good example of this attitude comes in the love shown by a father for a prodigal son in Jesus' parable in Luke 15:11–32. Although
the son had wronged his father, left home, led a corrupt life, and squandered his inheritance, when he returned home, he found the
father waiting to welcome him back. Also, the father rejoiced to have his wayward son home again.

(Jeremiah 31:3. Jeremiah 31:3 NIV

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

Lamentations 3:22
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will
quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

Romans 5:8 God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our
trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved.

All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. (Psalms 25:10)

Psalm 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

3. God's faithfulness extends to all generations. Lamentations 3:23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness,
describes this characteristic of the Lord as "great." He has never broken a promise, left a believer without His care, or failed to do all
He said He would do. He has always been reliable and always will be reliable.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the
excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
 Genesis 17.7: And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an
everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.

Psalm 22.30: A posterity shall serve Him. It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation…

Psalms 119:90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.

Thessalonians 5:24
The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
So, it is just right to give Him all our praises,

Ephesians 3.21: …to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Psalm 89:1
I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever;
with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known
through all generations.
