I. COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The course covers the study of the nature, elements, and penalties of crimes under
different titles of the Revised Penal Code Book 2 and its amendments and applicability
in the administration of justice including the recent principles of law, jurisprudence,
special laws, and relevant statutes.

II. LEARNING OUTCOMES:

 Learn the concepts of different crimes under the Revised Penal Code Book 2.
 Demonstrate knowledge and broad understanding on the elements of the various
crimes as provided in the Revised Penal Code Book 2 and related special laws.
 Apply the principles and jurisprudence of the different crimes.
 Apply the study in the criminology profession.

III. COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

The students are advised to conduct further research on the given topics in order to
substantially answer the learning activities, exercises, and questions on the modules.
The outputs/answers are to be submitted as scheduled either in hard copy (thru
personal or delivery service) or soft copy (in extreme and exceptional cases), whichever
is applicable and preferable to the students for consolidation prior to submission to the
professor. Soft copies should be sent thru the electronic/online platform exclusively
created for the course (kuriosians.1997@gmail.com). An online written examination will
be given at the end of the course.

Assessment/evaluation will be in the following forms:
