Course/Section: BSEd Math ll

Instructions: In this section, you learned that necessity is the mother of inventions and
innovations. Inventions are not simply made but are motivated by various social, political,
cultural, and economic contexts. In this task, you will address this question: “If you were an
inventor, what would you invent?” In thinking about an invention, make sure that you come up
with one that has not been invented yet but is possible to be invented in the near future. On the
space below, sketch a draft of your invention then answer the questions that follow.

1. What is your invention? What does it do?

My invention is an automatic mobile phone. It has stable signal even there are no towers
around or in place like mountains, and it has the ability to detect any threats around you.
2. How is your invention similar to or different from existing tools or technologies in
terms of functions?
The automatic mobile phone is different from existing mobile phones because when you
use it, you can go anywhere and at the same time, your phone will also have a very
good network and you will become secure because by using the automatic mobile
phone, you will be able to know if there was a problem or threats around that can cause
harm or whatever.
3. Why is there a need for this invention? How will this invention make the world a
better place to live?
Nowadays, many people are using different kinds of technologies such as cellphone. In
our current situation, teachers and students need stable internet connection because of
online class. Some students are not participating in class and one of the major cause is
poor signal in their area. This invention can help us a lot especially in this time because
we are living in a harmful world. Anytime and anywhere, there are threats around us so it
will give us protection against any harm and assurance of stable signal.
