Group Project Ideas-EL21C and Instruction

"Relativity applies to physics, not ethics."

- Albert Einstein (1879-1955), Physicist and Nobel Laureate

Team Project requires you to capture the essence of ethical leadership. You have to select one topic
from the list and offer your understand of that particular issue. Evidence and data related on that
matter should be analysed to understand how you position yourself.
You can perform secondary research (for instance, use already existing data, research papers, video
essays, podcasts, books and newspaper articles) to substantiate your point of view(s).

30% of your overall score is constitutes of team projects. Again, continuous marking system is to be
practiced

Listed below are a couple of housekeeping point to be kept in mind while working on the group
project.

Ideate Ideation is an exciting process. The goal is to generate a large number of

ideas — ideas that potentially inspire newer, better ideas — that the team
can then cut down into the best, most practical and innovative ones.
Ideation will help :
·        Ask the right questions and innovate.
·        Step beyond the obvious solutions and therefore increase the
innovation potential of your solution.
·        Bring together perspectives and strengths of team members.
·        Uncover unexpected areas of innovation.
·        Create volume and variety in your innovation options.
·        Get obvious solutions out of your heads, and drive your team
beyond them.

Research The main purpose of research is to inform action, gather evidence for
theories, and contribute to developing knowledge in the field of
study/project.

Execution This step helps them to link the idea taken towards execution of their
project.
Mind maps are the best way to identify key areas of concerns.

Presentation Develop more clarity with their preparation of their PPT/ File that the team
gets ready for submission.

Engagemen This stage culminates all the above and finally depicts the way they engage
t with the topic.
Deliverables: A Visual (audio-video presentation) Presentation (10 to 15 min long) with
evidence of  the project journey (in form of the e-journal/ process book).

Your presentation can include film clip, video essays, images, photographs, artworks.
(Don’t forget to cite your sources).

Submission Date: Summative submission from Week 14 onwards- Date TBD

Please note that you will be marked on the process and not just the final outcome,
therefore all the elements of your project are of equal importance.

Step 1: Make a group.

Think: you want to be a Machiavelli or an Aristotle or just yourself.

Step 2: Write down the names of all the group members in a word file along with their email
address and email the document to the instructor. This needs to be done ASAP (or the date
decided by the instructor).

Step 3: Set a date for meeting. Make sure that it is a recurring meeting with alerts. (Use the e-
calendar invite for this).

Step 4: Generate a meeting link and password.

Email it to all the group members. Alternatively, if you want you can create WhatsApp
groups as well.

Step 5: Turn up for the meeting and please listen to each other.
While someone should take down the minutes.

Step 6: Work as a team. Continue working as a team…

The word file that the instructor should be receiving via email (only) should include the
following:
1. The class name- egs: Ethical Leadership in the 21st Century.2021.83.BA-LLB-H-
EL.CRL.LBRL.CNTL-III-B2.VR_K_292
2. The names of the all the members and their Ids.
3. The topic that you have selected. You cannot change this later.
4. Meeting link with password (optional), and a calendar invite.
5. The CRs’ are responsible to see that this gets done within the stipulated time period.
6. At this stage the instructor should be receiving one word file/class (in case it’s a
mixed batch then maybe 2 files from two batches) with all the aforementioned details.
