Technical Description and Process Analysis
Define Technical Description
- Pretty much a depiction of a mechanism or tool

Types of Technical Description

 Operations manuals – As the user, operation manuals help depict the product of
installation and or operation, generally giving viable information.
 Product Demand Specifications – Helps companies track down for the exact thing
they are looking for in a specific product to later consult about the specifications.
 Study Reports Provided by Consulting Firms – If there ever was ever a problem,
it would be handled by consulting engineers to provide a descriptive analysis of the
situation.
 Construction Design – When a structural design becomes adequate, the clarification
and approval of the design must be in affect for it requires a description from a legal
standpoint, which can later be altered if necessary to do so.
 Sales Literature – For in order money to be simply placed on the matter, many
companies like to make descriptions of the product in the show casing to increase their
chances of profit.

Definition of Process Analysis

- Step by step instruction of how something needs to be done.

Criteria for Writing Technical Descriptions and Process Analysis

 Title – The start of a topic that relates to either a tool, mechanism etc.…
 Overall Organization Highlighting Techniques – Organization is heavily relied
upon the facts that a given to achieve greater understanding of the so-called product.
This could be for example the functions and or the different types of processing that
needs to be done.
