Political Caricature 1

It portraits the social stratification, about the political aspect, in which people who are
at the top, can control or manipulate people who are at the bottom. It illustrates the
immorality and fiendish schemes, these are the people who have a desire only for the
benefit of themselves. They are smirking and sniggering for they know that it is all on in
the plan, and they know that they are not the ones who will suffer. It also displays the
ignorance and forced fate of people who are on the frontlines. They are the puppet, in
which in the hierarchy, the top controls them. Ignorance because they live their life on the
false truth, or even died in their battle not knowing the truth of corruption behind them.
They depict different facial expressions because they have different troubles and
situations in their life, they accepted and already knew their fate. For nothing they can do
because they are labelled as poor.

In todays generation, there are still some people whose their hearts is corrupted by
immoral schemes. We do not know if we are controlled by someone, but we can check it
if our actions are hindered or we have that ‘gut feeling’ that the situation is wrong. We
should check the facts and confirm the truth on what we are fighting for. Each of us has
free will, decide on our own, and live differently from the others. We can also fight on
what we think is right and protest on what we think is wrong.

Political Caricature 2
This picture shows the unjust effects of colonialism and imperialism on our country.
We all know that our country has been colonized by Spanish and American people,
which eventually lead to us today that our country became a third-world county. It is
unfortunate as the picture told us, that our local farmers are suffering from all of the
labors they made and only made some pennies not worth for their works. The man who
holds a whip which belongs to the other country, supervises the work of our farmers,
waiting for the goods and to be transported to their country. It is a one-sided development
of trade between countries, that only one country benefits.

We need to act and help our local farmers, for them to voluntarily producing good
quality products and also for our country to be more independent. Not only for local
farmers but also all local workers who contribute significantly to our country’s
development. We are free now, if it needs to do another revolution then fight for the
greater good of all people and the country. Prioritization should implement and
opportunities for our local people.
