Time: 7:30am to 8:30am (Daily)

I. Competency Objectives
At the end of 60 minute lesson, with 80% proficiency level, students should be able
to:

a. identify the Philosophies and beliefs of Hinduism;


b. write a reflection using bubble quotes on Hinduism; and
c. appreciate and give respect to the Philosophies and beliefs of
Hinduism.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Religions of Asia: Hinduism


Reference: History of Asian Nation, Gregorio F. Zaide and Sonia M. Zaide, pp.78-79
Materials: Printed reference, Images, Manila paper, Pentel pen, DLP and Laptop,
Book

Four Skills:
Listening: During group conversations, students pay attention to their companions.
They also pay attention in class to the informal student presentations.
Speaking: Students talk with their group mates before giving presentations to the
rest of the class.
Reading: During the warm-up, students examine the visual aids provided by the
teacher.
Writing: During group conversations, students write down their personal
preferences and then take notes.

- The Vedas is the analogy of bible to
Hindu. It is the most sacred and
reflects the life and culture of Indian.
