Tom: This is Monica, my girlfriend. Monica, these are my parents.

Tom's father: Hello, Monica. Nice to meet you.

Monica: Hi, nice to meet you, too.

Tom's mother: Welcome Monica! Where are you from?

Monica: Thank you! I’m from Connecticut.

Tom's father: Monica, are you an engineer too?

Monica: No, I’m not. I’m a teacher. And what do you do?

Tom's father: My job is very hard. I’m a doctor.

Monica: Interesting! And you Mrs. Smith, are you a doctor, too?

Tom's mother: No, I’m not. I’m a psychologist.

Monica: And who are those?

Tom: That’s my brother Pete and his wife, Lenna.

Tom's mother: Pete is a pilot.

Monica: A pilot! That's exciting. And what's her job?

Tom's mother: Lenna is an excellent accountant.
