Activity Type Introduction


Reading, writing, In this present perfect continuous activity, students conduct a
listening and speaking survey on recent activities and actions to practice the tense. This

classroom asking and answering the questions and completing
their worksheets.

Tell the students that when they have found a name for an item
and asked a follow-up question or two, they should move on to
another student. This is to encourage them to speak to as many
different partners as possible.

When everyone has finished, go through each item on the


worksheet. Ask the students to give feedback to the rest of the
class on what they found out about their classmates. Ask them
to share any interesting answers and encourage the students to
discuss them in more detail.
