Long ago there lived a Sea King in the Coral Palace at the bottom of the sea.

He has six mermaid

daughters. While five of them were happy, his youngest mermaid princess didn’t even smile even once.

Despite having so many beautiful corals, shells of different sizes and fish or different colors, she is still
unhappy. She like to go out to the world above and see the blue sky, green trees and distant lands.

One night, the Little Mermaid left her Coral home and came to the surface of the water secretly. There
was a storm and she saw a young man needing help. The Little mermaid rescued him and she fell inlove
with this young man. The Little mermaid left however because there is a beautiful woman coming
towards them.

When the young man opened his eyes, he saw the beautiful woman and he thought she was the one
who helped him. The beautiful woman was also a princess. The Little mermaid really wanted to have
feet instead of a fish tail.

The Little Mermaid went to the Witch of the Sea and ask he to grant her wish. The Little mermaid
wanted to walk and dance. She wanted to have feet. The Witch of the Sea agreed on one condition, she
will lose her voice. The Little Mermaid agreed.
