The Ant and the Grasshopper

Once upon a time in the beautiful spring in the jungle, a grasshopper was dancing and swinging in the
field and was singing his spring song. The grasshopper saw an ant and asked her what she is doing. The
grasshopper said, “It’s a beautiful why aren’t you dancing and singing like what I’m doing?” The and told
the grasshopper, “I’m gathering food and I’m building a house!” The grasshopper laughed and teased
the ant. “It is spring now! It’s time to enjoy and have fun!”, the grasshopper said. But the ant ignored
him and continued her work as she was hardworking.

A few days later, it started to rain heavily. The whole jungle became a swamp. The rain caused flood and
there was no food anywhere and most animals became very hungry. So, the helpless grasshopper came
to the ant’s house and pleaded, “Oh dear ant, please give me something to eat. I’m very hungry.”
