Get started downloading and installing IBM Business Automation Workflow
Product overview
IBM® Business Automation Workflow provides an integrated digital automation platform to automate business processes and
case management solutions for agility, visibility, and consistency across business operations. In addition to process and case
management, IBM Business Automation Workflow uses advanced analytics, business rules, and collaboration to drive optimized,
successful business outcomes.

1 Step 1: Access the software and documentation

IBM Business Automation Workflow is available for download in two editions, Enterprise and Express. If you download the
product from IBM Passport Advantage®, go to Download IBM Business Automation Workflow (http://www.ibm.com/
support/docview.wss?uid=swg27051101), select the version and download link for your product, and follow the
directions in the download document.

2 Step 2: Evaluate the requirements and configuration

Use the Software Product Compatibility Reports page (https://www.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity/
index.html) to generate a report for the supported operating systems, related software, hypervisors, hardware

You can use the process and case management features in IBM Business Automation Workflow in different

Review the product licenses to ensure you have the necessary authorizations to support your topology and you
understand the usage restrictions for all software components that are included with the product.
