1. Good day, everyone! I am Jay N.

Naz, 25 years old, residing at Sumlang,

Camalig, Albay. I am an LPT.
I am the most fit candidate for the position of Administrative Assistant I.
I’ve worked for three years as a private school teacher. In teaching, there
are responsibilities that are related in the responsibilities of an
Administrative Assistant. For instance, in terms of organizing files and
records of students, being able to communicate well with the parents and
the community and attending to the needs of students. These
responsibilities that I have mastered are applicable to the position that I am
applying for.
I believe that my skills in written and verbal communication are suited in
the position since some of the jobs of an administrative assistant are to
answer and screen phone calls and provide feedbacks and prepares
communications.
I am the most fit candidate because of my ability to work under pressure
and to maintain good attitude while working in a fast –paced environment
and I have proved this in my teaching experience.

2. In my three years of teaching experience, I already encountered several

persistent and aggressive parents complaining about their child’s grades. If
I encounter the same problem as Administrative Assistant, it will not be
new to me. I will handle this situation by means of remaining calm all the
time. I will give the client the time to express himself without interrupting
and listen carefully. And if it is my turn, I will speak politely to the client and
explain whatever the problem is. If the situation gets worse, I will forward
the issue to my supervisor.

3. Time management is very important. I will prioritize urgent concerns

delegated by my immediate supervisor by means of doing the task the
soonest. As an administrative assistant, it is my job to recognize task
based on the urgency and importance. If there are urgent concerns, then
other tasks must be set aside first. I need to focus and finish urgent tasks
or concerns before proceeding to other important tasks. Of course. I must
learn how to manage my time in order to finish tasks successfully. Time
management and focus must be considered.
