1、Description

 A module of six functions, support USB -TTL USB-232 USB-485 TTL-232 TTL-485
232-485 conversion.
 Compatible with Windows Linux Wince and other operating systems.
 Comes with 500mA fuse protection circuit to prevent short connection, over current burning
equipment.
 The indicator lamp uses red, yellow and green three colors to indicate the working state of
the equipment. Com port selects the USB (yellow light) to be on normally, the data receives
the RX (red light) flicker, the data sends the TX (green light) flicker.
 Small size, high stability, easy to carry.
 Compatible with 3.3V/5V voltage input and output, can supply power to SCM.
 Adopt reliable edge switch, 10 times toggle life, ensure stable switching of working mode.

3、Method

3.1 Install driver

First ,open the CP2102 driver folder in the package and install the driver, if it is 32 bit
system ,please install CP210xVCPInstaller_x86.exe,if it is 64 bit system, please install
CP210xVCPInstaller_x64.exe,click next to complete the installation , after the installation is
complete, insert a six in one serial port module to virtual a COM port on the PC software.

Changing the port number

Sometimes we insert multiple USB serial module into our computer,and sometimes we want
serial numbers to be allocated according to our expectations,so we need to manually adjust the
serial number, if the above serial port 3 is changed to serial port 4,the operation steps are as
follows:
Open device manager, right-click on CP102 USB to UART Bridge Controller and select attribute

Click on port setting,and then click on “advanced settings”

Change the COM, click OK

4、 Dialing mode specification

This serial port conversion module selects conversion function through a two-bit dialing switch
and chip switch. The function configuration is as follows:

6、Function testing

The function of the product can be verified by USB to TTL self-closed loop test and USB to 232
self-closed loop test. The methods are as follows:

6.1 USB to TTL self-closed loop

Connected the TXD and RXD of the module with DuPont line, Dial the corresponding dial switch
according the instructions in the function selection, then insert the module into computer, and
use serial debugging assistant to send data to see if there is corresponding data to return. If you
can receive the data sent , the function of the module is normal.

6.2 USB to 232 self-closed loop

Connected the 232T and 232R of the module with DuPont line, Dial the corresponding dial switch
according the instructions in the function selection, then insert the module into computer, and
use serial debugging assistant to send data to see if there is corresponding data to return. If you
can receive the data sent , the function of the module is normal.

6.3 USB to 485 testing

(This mode test needs to work with other 485 devices, such as two USB -485 modules)
Take two USB -485 serial port modules and connect the A(TX) and B(RX) of the two modules

with DuPont line respectively, A(TX) is connected to A(TX) and B(RX) is connected to B(RX),insert
the module into the computer, open two serial port debugging assistants and select the serial
port numbers corresponding to the two USB -385 serial port modules, use one of them to send
and see if other serial port can receive the corresponding data, if you can receive the data sent ,
the function of the module is normal.
