Subject: Update from a Social Enterprise
To: "consultantabhay@gmail.com" <consultantabhay@gmail.com>

Dear Abhay,

Greetings from Envirofit!

Leading a social enterprise is challenging, not least because we are tasked with
talking about and resolving issues in rural India that so many are unaware of; I'd like
to thank you for staying connected with our story.

Over the past ten years we have accomplished larger projects than we dreamed of
when we first began in a small office in Bangalore. From our very first clean
cookstoves that addressed the problem of Household Air Pollution (HAP) caused by
traditional cookstoves, to looking ahead to an LPG innovation that will be a game
changer, Envirofit has come a long way.

HAP still impacts over 150 million homes across India; as an issue, it still needs
financial partnership by companies willing to address and eliminate the problem.
Envirofit has helped over 600,000 rural kitchens in India -breathe cleaner air through
the use of our cookstoves and we want it to continue. I'm reaching out to ask for your
help in connecting me with companies and CSR programs that want to create a
project that will impact 10 of the UN's SDG's & spread awareness about this huge
problem in the developing countries.

Each of our programs are bespoke; we build them to meet our partner's strategic
goals. Here are a few highlights:

·      Working with micro-finance companies to offer Envirofit's clean cookstove as

part of their portfolio. One of these projects - with Fullerton - saw 60,000 stoves
being bought by rural consumers in three states

·      Working with Infosys on a clean cookstove and carbon credit program that
disseminated 74,400 stoves in two states. This program required us to bring creative
thinking to the table, including developing a custom-built app that lets us track users
over the three-year project lifespan, and building a package of carbon credits that will
see Infosys gain 300,000 tons of carbon offset. Our CSR worksheet helps prove
value for every rupee spent, not just for Infosys, but every partner we work with.

·      Clean-burning LPG is what we want rural consumers to access. However,

despite governmental efforts, affordability is still a major challenge. Earlier, I referred
to a game-changer from Envirofit it is our pay-as-you-cook SmartGas meter. This
meter will change the way consumers use LPG - helping them budget better and
avoiding spending Rs. 700 on a new cylinder each month. In addition, they will never
run out of gas; metering technology alerts the dealer ahead of time. Envirofit is
piloting SmartGas in India in 2018, but it is already operational in Kenya and Ghana.

All of this is about building the energy ladder - providing a variety of access to those
in energy poverty. It is also about partnership and I would be grateful for any help to
take this mission to the next level in any form.

Sincerely,

Harish Anchan
