STATE LAVEL NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION 2021-22


(For the student studying in class X)
Note : Important Instructions

1. Read the instruction carefully given on the website before filling the application form.
2. You may take the help from your teacher/parents for filling the application form.
3. Last date of submission of online form 24/12/2021.
4. Date of examination 16 January 2022 Time 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (For physically
challenged Candidate - 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
5. Name & address of the agency for conducting first level NTS examination: Secretary,
Examination Regulatory Authority, U.P., Prayagraj.
6. Name of the State Liason/Nodal officer: Director, Bureau of Psychology U.P., 2
Lowther Road, Prayagraj.
7. It is essential to upload caste certificate (OBC/SC/ST) and certificate of
EWS/Physically challenged group, certificates should be issued by the competent
authority on the prescribed format before the last date of online application. If the
candidate of OBC/SC/ST/EWS/Physically challenged group will not upload the
Caste/EWS/disability certificate with the online application form they will be treated as
General candidate. In this condition candidate will be responsible for his/her own.
8. Candidate belongs to reserved category should upload their own reservation
certificate.
9. I have read the instructions carefully before filling the online form.
Note : Instruction for appearing in the Examination
1. Reach the examination centre at least half an hour before the commencement of
examination and occupy the seat that bears your Roll number.
2. Do not take a calculator, mathematical & physical table or any other kind of ready
reckoner to the examination hall.
3. In this examination there will be one question paper, which has two parts:
Part I: - Part I is confined to Mental Ability Test (MAT) consisting of hundred (100)
compulsory MCQ type question.
Part II: - Part II is confined to Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) consisting of hundred (100)
compulsory MCQ type question (40 question from science, 40 from social science and
20 from mathematics).
4. Time for part-I and part-II is 240 minutes (4 hours) and for physically challenged
candidate is 300 minutes (5 hour).
5. Each question carries 1(one) Mark.
6. Write your roll number as given in the admit card on the answer sheet and on the
cover page of the question booklet in the space provided.
7. Do not write your name in any part of the Question Booklet or on the Answer Sheet.
8. All questions in the booklet are MCQ type. For each question four possible answers
are given but only one is correct.
9. Record your answer using black or blue ball pen. You have to indicate your answers
on the answer sheet as instruction are given on the question paper.
10. During the Examinations follow the printed instruction on the question booklet
carefully.
11. Hand over your answer sheet to the invigilator before you leave the examination Hall.
12. Last date of submission of online form 24/12/2021.
13. Candidate will fill their application through online. Application will not be accepted
through any other medium than online.
14. Date of examination 16 January 2022 Time 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (For physically
challenged Candidate - 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
15. Physically challenged candidate studying in any recognized school having disability
of 40% and above can appear in the NTS examination, it is essential to submit P.H.
certificate in the prescribed format by the three specialists including the specialist of the
concerned disability. The certificate should be countersigned by the C.M.O. concerned.
16. The examination fee will be accepted online only. Payment will receive by UPI
payment, internet banking and Debit card/Credit card.
17. It is essential to upload caste certificate (OBC/SC/ST) and certificate of
EWS/Physically challenged group, certificates should be issued by the competent
authority on the prescribed format before the last date of online application. If the
candidate of OBC/SC/ST/EWS/Physically challenged group will not upload the
Caste/EWS/disability certificate with the online application form they will be treated as
General candidate. In this condition candidate will be responsible for his/her own.
The benefit of reservation under the Other Backward Classes category will be given to
the candidate who’s certificate certified that the gross annual income of their parents for
continuous period for 3 year should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs or he/she does not belong
to person/section (creamy layer) mentioned in the column 3 of the schedule of the
Government of India.
The certificate of the OBC candidate will be valid (issued) only within the last three year
form the last date of online application.
18. It is mandatory for the candidate under Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
category to submit the certificate issued by the competent authority within one year on
the prescribed format.
19. Candidate belongs to reserved category will upload their own reservation certificate.
