    Expand each sentence by adding at least one conjunction(coordinating/subordinating/correlative) and

    any other words that are necessary.

    1. I prepared the dessert. (coordinating conjunction) – I prepared the dessert, but my sister wants
    side dishes.
    2. I do not know Jin won. (correlative conjunction) – I do not know that Jin won not only a trophy,
    but also money.
    3. I play soccer. (subordinating conjunction) – I play soccer even if it’s raining hard.
    4. The carpenter works quickly. (coordinating conjunction) - The carpenter works quickly, so it will
    be finished quickly.
    5. I can go shopping. (correlative conjunction) – I can either go shopping or hang out with friends.
