“MY SUCCESS STORY”

Dear Ma’am,

I am Jennifer B. Hayawon a bonafide resident of Barangay Bayuyan Estancia Iloilo. I am 19 years

old taking up Bachelor of Science in Criminology at Hercor College.

My life before I was not yet a scholar is very complicated because the everyday income of my
father is not enough in sending me at school. Because my father is a fisherman and my mother is
a house wife so that means that they cannot afford all of my expenses in school and especially
when it comes to my tuition fee. But my parents always find ways just to pay all of those
payments in our school.

But when I became a scholar of this program, I tell to myself that I will study hard because this
helps me a lot and also to my parents because every time we have an examination in school, we
use to pay for our tuition fee so that we can take an exam, and my parents won’t get worry
anymore. And also, me as a student given this kind of big opportunity all I can do is that to study
hard and maintain my grades until I finished my course.

As a student that was qualified of this scholarship program, It was a big help to me because they
help me more on focusing on my studies and not to worry of my school fees anymore land also,
in the part of my parents you give them peace of mind because they don’t have to worry when it
comes to my school fees.

All I can say is that a big THANK YOU CHED- STUFAP PESFA for this very big opportunity that you
have given to me. I am very grateful because you have chosen me as one of the scholarship
beneficiary. And I believe poverty is not a reason to stop your ambition in life.
