Mental Maths: Multiplying 3-Digit Numbers by 11

Find the value of 273 × 11.

STRATEGY
Step 1: 273 × 10 = 2730 [find the 10th multiple of the number]

Step 2: 2730 + 273 = 3003 [add the number to the result obtained in step 1 to find
the 11th multiple of the number]
