Portfolio: Students will submit their Classroom Participation Portfolios they have developed
during throughout the semester, to demonstrate their participation. (40 marks)
The portfolio must include the following:
1. Purpose of his/her her portfolio – how portfolio can be viewed as a 5 marks
method to self-assessment? (200 words) Each student will share the purpose of his/her participation portfolio. Criterion a. It should present students’ learning during the course sessions b. It should exhibit growth not the best work
2. Evidence of participation 5 marks
Students will demonstrate evidence of their participation during the sessions (e.g. the test blueprint, test items development, item analysis of items, worksheets, handouts, etc.).
3. Reflective statements At least 5 Reflective statements on different 15 marks
sessions Students will share and explain how they have arranged reflections on unique events from class and how their beliefs about various aspects of teaching changed over time. 200 words each.
4. Overall Reflection 10 marks
How the discussion in the sessions support your understanding about test design? How would you bring improving in the test design in their teaching context? (500 – 700 words)
5. Presentation and organization 5 marks
Students will share and explain how they have developed the structure of their portfolios 5 marks Cover page [1 mark] Table of contents [1 mark] Portfolio is divided into categories. Interesting, catchy captions/slogans are written on each category. [3 marks]
