Theme : World of Knowledge

Topic : Unit 11 Natural Disasters

Content Standard : 2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling,


pupils will be able to demonstrate
understanding of a variety of linear and non-
linear texts in the form of print and non-print
materials using a range of strategies to
construct meaning.

Learning Standards : 2.2.3 Able to read and demonstrate understanding of


texts by:

(a) giving main ideas and supporting details

(b) sequencing

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

Behavioural objectives : 1. identify main ideas and supporting details from


the reading text by answering at least 4 out of 6
questions (pop quiz) correctly.

2. sequence the events based on the date of


volcanic eruption by answering the sequencing
question (pop quiz) correctly.
