Important Skills That I Can Contribute Towards the
Organization

People skills are an essential part of work, life, and social success. When you
have strong people skills, you are better able to: Pitch yourself, Overcome social
anxiety, communicate your ideas, Influence others positively (Van, 2020). Poor
skills stop people getting involved in their communities. Improving these
essential skills, the agency's work conclusively shows, breaks down barriers to
social exclusion. Through the Adult and Community Learning Fund, we have
seen hostel residents with improved basic skills now willing to contribute to
house meetings; parents on skills courses in family centers getting keen to
organise a parent-toddler group; tenants who've done a meeting-skills course
joining the residents action group; young probation clients on a basic skills and
IT course producing an in-house newsletter; people completing a numeracy
course being encouraged to join the credit union. These examples are
commonplace (Mearing, 2000). On the other Hand, as a person you can
contribute to the society as well as being a earning member and have a good
quantity of skills in your doing jobs may help the society. Because no matter
what organizations also part of society, being skilled and make other also can
help the society.

No matter what industry you work in or what role you perform, organizational
skills are highly sought after by employers. Being able to prioritize, plan, and
effectively manage one’s time are all transferable skills that increase the
efficiency of any business. With strong organizational skills, unforeseen issues
are less daunting, and plans are in place for every eventuality. While every
employee has a different organizational style, some organizational skills are
important across the board. Organizational skills are all about being able to
prioritize tasks, maximize efficiency, and maintain structure throughout a
workday or a project’s lifespan. Discipline, cognitive flexibility, and memory
are all crucial to being a strong organizer (kolmar, 2021). Though there are
different skills matter to contribute in an organization, Research on what HR
experts believe are the most important skills indicates that we are moving
away from a mind-set that potential employees should have the technical
know-how and the right academic qualifications. Even though the latter is an
inevitable prerequisite, the emphasis has shifted. In today’s world, employers
and recruiters have realized that it is much easier to train smart individuals how
to perform the specifics of any role. This is as long as they have already
acquired a much harder-to-teach skill set. This skill set comprises the likes of
critical thinking, soft skills, and some basic competency in a few areas of
expertise (CHRISTODOULOU, 2013).

Organizational skills are some of the most important proficiencies you can have
as an employee. Being organized will allow you to meet deadlines, minimize
stress and carry out your duties more efficiently. To learn how improving your
organizational skills can affect your work performance, you need to know what
this skill set entails. In this article, we look at different types of organizational
skills, suggest what you can do to improve your skills and discuss how to
highlight organizational skills on a resume or in a job interview (Team, 2021)

Being organized in the workplace involves using a range of important skills,

including:

 Time management
 Communication
 Setting goals
 Delegation
 Working under pressure
 Self-motivation
 Analytical thinking
 Attention to detail
 Decision-making
 Strategic planning

All in all, no matter what job you have or what company you work for, two
things are certain: Organizational skills are essential in the workplace, and the
benefits of continually working on improving them are always worth the effort
(Estrada).
