Peer Educator Mid-Semester Evaluation

Directions: For each section, mark “needs improvement” (this is an area for growth), “meets expectations”
(meets the expectations laid out by the grad and director), or “exceeds expectations” (consistently goes above
and beyond in this area). At the end are three open-ended questions to help facilitate a conversation between us.
The goal of this evaluation is to reflect on where you are now and where you need/want to be.

Consistently work 10-15 hours a week and communicate with Grad or Director when hours need to change.

Serve as a resource person for students, faculty, staff, and departments regarding issues related to the LGBTQ+
community, queer/questioning issues, gender identity and sexual orientation, and the concerns for friends or
family members.

Present information on LGBTQ+ issues through programs, panels, and Ally Trainings.

Report to the Graduate Student and/or Pride Center Director directly when students, faculty or staff are in need
of support or referrals to campus and/or off campus resources.

Prepare, plan, implement, and evaluate one program during each semester (outside of established Pride Center
events, programs, trainings, and panels).

Attend all Pride Center staff meetings and training sessions.

Build and maintain a collection of electronic and hard copy files pertaining to LGBTQ+ issues including, but
not limited to relevant organizations, articles, information and other important materials. Make sure all
documents are added to the Pride Center Teams file.

Work with other Peer Educator(s) to prepare marketing for all programs, design and the production of
informational materials pertaining to LGBTQ+ information.

Help schedule, arrange, other logistics, and lead LGBTQ+ panels.

Take lead in the Pride Center’s annual programming assigned to you (which may include National Coming Out
Day, Trans Day of Remembrance, World AIDS Day, Drag Show, Ally Trainings, or other issues assigned).

Assist with and support programming efforts of the Pride Center.

Help maintain the Pride Center’s web page, Facebook page, Instagram, and Discord.

list.
