1. What subject would you like to write your Extended Essay in?

Economics

2. Why is it important you write an EE in this subject? (100 words)

I want to learn more about Economics on my off ;me because I look at it as a way to analyze the world in an in depth manner.
Economics is one of my favorite subjects which is why I am taking it and hope to one day minor in it once I study in a
University.

3. What topic am I interested in invesVgaVng, and why? (200 words)

I want to explore the world of Economic systems in order to reach a deeper level of understanding on how economies work in
different areas of the world., I want to be researching about capitalism and socialism with a minor dive into communism
and into how each system works and why some systems would not be able to fully operate in a successful manner in
todays society. I will most likely include a background into both Capitalism and Socialism and then choose examples of
countries that have chosen that specific economic system then analyze the pros and cons of each na;on and why they
succeeded/failed.

I will use an organized calendar to map out different stages of my extended essay and make sure I finish in an efficient manner.
I will also try and limit myself to wri;ng once a week so that I can focus the rest of the week on finding adequate sources.

 I must exercise the greatest sensi;vity to local and interna;onal cultures.
