MANALO, Esperanza C.

Sir/ Madam:
I would like to bring to your kind attention that I already submitted, personally, the form
of my marital status to the Veterans Affairs of your regional office here in Manila last 09 th of
May, 2018. I responded late to your letter for the reason that our post master here in our post
office in Iba, Zambales were not delivering it to my address.

I am not the only pensioner here in our place that has this kind of issue regarding with
letters which is not properly delivered to our home address. Because of that issue, I haven’t been
able to response to your letter immediately. And it resulted of me not having receiving my
monthly pension for almost four (4) months now, although I already submitted the update of my
marital status at the VA Regional Office. And for this I am requesting to your respective office
department to please look into my concern about my pending pension. Because my pension is the
only thing we depend on the most to support our needs in our living and for my daughter’s
school tuition fee per semester and she is now a graduating student. I’m afraid that she may not
be able to finish her study if I am not able to pay her tuition fees. I can’t also look or find a job
which will suit me for the reason that no one wants to hire me because of me having a disabled
leg because of polio.

I am appealing to your office to give immediate attention to my plea to process my

transaction immediately for me to be able to receive my monthly pension.

I am looking forward to your immediate action and response regarding with my concern.

Respectfuly yours,

Ma. Esperanza C. Manalo
