Question 1:

The basic concept of advocacy is basically measured as an act that helps to speak on behalf of
any person to support an individual. According to the comment of Sashi et al. (2019), in
addition, it can be also said that this entire advocacy concept is also used to support any things as
well as the place. In order to provide proper justice along with the positive rights, this advocacy
concept plays an important role. The entire advocacy aspect is usually divided into two major
parts which are -
● Self-Advocacy
The most important part of the entire advocacy aspect is considered as the self-advocacy.
According to the vision of Anderson et al. (2017), this advocacy refers to providing the potential
ability to speak or stand up for yourself or for the self of an individual. In addition, this self-
advocacy also helps to increase the self-control aspects which help to make and build a proper
decision making. Not only this, this aspect of self-advocacy increases the empowering aspect of
the personal life of an individual.
● Group Advocacy
This group advocacy is also an important part of the entire advocacy context. According to the
opinion of De Bruycker et al. (2017), in addition, this group advocacy is always helping to
enhance the concept of the support, connections with an individual. This advocacy aspect also
helps to achieve the goal of an individual by providing several points of view on a particular
aspect which also enhance the strengths of an individual. At the end of this, it can be easily said
that this group advocacy aspect increases the safety aspect of an individual.
Question 2:
The UNCRPD or the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
always provides effective rights in the favor of the dignity of any individual as well as the
disabilities (Lombardi et al. 2019). In addition, this UNCRPD also helps by providing effective
support to all the regional groups. Due to all these reasons, the UNCRPD is playing the leading
role to provide the necessary rights as well as the facilities in the favor of the disabilities.
In addition, as per the description of the article 5 of the UNCRPD, it can be easily said that this
article provides the necessary rights to the people of Ireland. According to the vision of Hilberink
et al. (2019), in addition, it can also be said that this article provides the rights regarding the
Non-discrimination, Equality of opportunity Accessibility as well as the Equality between men
and women aspect towards the people of Ireland. According to the vision of Easton et al. (2018),
on the other hand, the article 30 of the UNCRPD described the necessary participation in the
aspect of the culture, life, recreation as well as the leisure aspect of the people of Ireland. In
addition, it can be easily said that this entire article provides the necessary protection on the
rights and the disabilities aspects of the people of Ireland.
