Answer each of the following concisely.

1. As a future educator, how can you be a good teacher?

Ans: For me as a future educator, I should be a good teacher I will do my role as a teacher,I need to
learned and collaborate with in my students, believing that they have their potential, Be creative and in
a way that captures the attention of my classroom ,a teacher knows how important is to be abreast with
the latest news, educational advancements, technology and soon. Sharing new knowledge also puches
students to research and learn more about things happen beyond the confines of their classroom.

2. If you are going to create a principle in the future, what is that and how will you put it into practice?

Ans:

If I will be creating a principle in the future I will choose to combine the principle of essentialism and
progressivism. For me, the center of the education system should still focus on the child, where teachers
and the curriculum should cater to the needs and development of every child. Then, we may apply also
a traditional approach in the curriculum in which the students in their basic education/elementary level
should have the mastery of the basic skills first (reading, writing, arithmetic, right conduct) before
adding another set of skills or subjects in their curriculum. I think this will be a great help to address the
problems in our education system.

3. What were the benefits that you derived in taking this subject, MTHT 201 – Principle and Strategies of
Teaching Mathematics?

Ans:

The benefits are . By taking this subject, MTHT 201- Principle and strategies of Teaching Mathematics
will help me acquire the necessary techniques, knowledge, and skills that I could apply when I am
already teaching.
