Suggestions for my school

1. Academic Suggestions

● 1. Re-introduction of StayBack and Remidial Classes.

● 2. Make FULL use of ERP app.

● 3. Re-introduction of making two sets of paper from 9th STD
onwards.

2. School - Related Suggestions

● 4. Introducting Detention in school.

● 5. Introducting/Organising Fundraising Programs in school.

● 6. Re-introduction of Projectors in Classes.

● 7. House Points for Behaviour.

● 8. Installment of speakers in classrooms and mic in Principal,

CC, AS Rooms for important announcements.

● 9. Mention Important School as well as General Dates in

School Calender (like investiture ceremony, annual day,
exams, etc.).

● 10. Introduction of Weekly/Fortnightly Magazine/Newspaper.

● 11. Make use of the small drawers found inbuilt in the sides of
the staircase.
 ● 12. Construction of Wall of Fame where names and photos of
students who introduced new things in school as well as
bringing laurels for school are put up.

3. Suggestions for IHAs

● 13. Auditions for IHAs.

● 15. Introducing Duets in Singing and/or Dancing.

4. Suggestions for Cultural Events

● 15. Auditions for Annual Day for Drama, Music, and Dance.

● 16. Preparation of Annual and Sports Days 30-45 days in

advance.

○ Give song/background and dance ideas to Music and

Dance Departments respectively in month of June or
July.

○ During this time, keep afternoon school.

● 17. Annual and Sports Day CDs to be given to students.

● 18. Gradual Introduction to certain sports like:

○ Cycling
○ Triathlon
○ Water Polo
○ Volleyball
○ Archery.

● 19. Introducting Jamming Sessions for  Music students.

5. Council - Related Suggestions

● 20. Regular Student Council sessions once per fortnight/month

(if not already implemented).

● 21. Permission to candidates for explaining in detail of their

Goals and Innovations to teachers with long time limit (3-4
minutes < time ≤ 8-10 minutes).

● 22. Allow Students to organise campaigns for the Student

Council elections.

● 23. Secretive Assessment of Students Council members for

one/two month(s) after election season.

6. Suggestion Related to Picnic

● 24. Picnic for 3-5 days for students of 7 STD or higher.
