Purpose/Goal: Greenpeace is a non-profit organization that works to change people's minds,

protect and maintain the environment, and promote peace around the world. Their primary
purpose is to safeguard natural resources and to raise awareness about environmental problems.
This volunteer-based organization undertakes campaigns against land, air, and water pollution in
addition to supporting ecological farming. Greenpeace thinks that the fight to protect our planet's
future is not about us. It's all about you now. Greenpeace has 2.8 million supporters globally and
inspires many more to take action every day.
