ONLINE ACTIVITIES FOR THE REPUBLIC DAY

Std VI

Select any one of the topic :

A) Nature Art

Use dry leaves and paint them showing some patriotic art like draw a peacock, lotus, flag etc.

B) Wall Hanging

Tri colour wall hanging where students need to use tricolour wool to prepare and show their
creativity.

C) Rangoli

Tricolour Rangoli using three colours only and making rangoli.

D) Solo Dance

Prepare a video of 2 minutes related to Republic Day. Dressup in Tricolour Costume.

Std VII

Select any one of the topic :

A) Express your views and thoughts through any of the following activities ( Choose any 1
activity)
1. A drawing or a sketch OR
2. A Catchy slogan with a picture

B) Tricolour Jewellery Making

Preparing earrings, necklaces, wristband, bracelets etc. Make anyone using wool, quilling paper,
breads etc.

C) Collage making

Topic- Unity in diversity

Use a KG sheet and prepare a colourful collage showing India’s unity and fraternity.

D) Solo Song
Prepare a video of 1 mins 30 secs of any Patrotic Song with music and dressup according to
Republic Day theme. Use nice background.

Std VIII

Select any one of the topic :

A) “ A Patriotic Poem”
1. Self composed poem on “Patriotism”. It can be in Hindi or English.
2. Prepare a video of 1 min .You should be in school uniform.

B) Hand painting

On National Symbols. You can use your creativity and innovative ideas.

The presentation should be neat and creative. Take a final picture of it with yourself in school
uniform.

Std IX

Topic :- Documentary / video making.

Prepare a video of 1 mins 30 secs of Freedom Fighters to show love and respect towards your
country.

Std X

Model Making :

Prepare models of any state showing its key feature. It can be monuments,famous places and
culture or tradition. Speak few lines on it and prepare a video of 1 min with your model.

Points to be noted:

The presentation should be neat and creative.

Std XI

Select any one of the topic :

A) Paper Quilling :

Make different paper quilling activities using Tricolour cards and paper strips. Take a final picture of
it with yourself in school uniform.
 B) Declamation or Speech :

Prepare a video of 1 min 30 secs and present your speech on any National Leader. Prepare a
beautiful presentation laying stress on content and voice modulation. Be in school uniform.

Std XII

Select any one of the topic :

A) SLOGAN WRITING

TOPIC – “PEACE OR PATRIOTISM”

RULES FOR SLOGAN WRITING:

● Language- ENGLISH
● Slogan must be creative and original.
● It should be concise- 15 to 20 words maximum.
● It should be appealing, crisp and clear.
● No spelling errors.
● It must not have any inappropriate content.
● Write it , showcasing your creativity on a chart paper.
● Take a picture of yours holding it in your hand.

B) Photography :
● Prepare a PPT of 1 min 30 secs with creative photos and images related to Republic Day
theme with some information about it.

Active participation is expected from all classes. Show you talent and creativity.

Submit it to your class teachers in your class group.
