During our elementary days, we learned about the food cycle; and there we learnt
that everything is connected. A certain animal has a prey and that prey can also
have a prey, thus the cycle goes on. This is the same case with us humans and
plants. We humans are omnivores. We consume both animals (meat) and plants.
Humans will not survive without either of the two. There are vitamins and minerals
that can only be found in plants. They are vital aspects in our diet. Not only is it
essential in our diet but more importantly for animals.
