Slogan

Get along, and

do no wrong!
Video Ad
By: Mobashir
Logos This advertisement was mainly a logos/
logical one, to get people thinking into
reminding them that racism is still an issue
throughout the United States, Europe, and
the rest of the world, this advertisement is
to throught logos is to get the audience
think logically that we haven’t been able
to get equity into our world properly just
yet.
Pathos
This advertisement really doesn’t have much to
provoke emotion. Well yes people could get an
emotional feel by watching this ad by thinking
“oh we had great leaders to get rid of racism but
still despite their efforts failed to get rid of it”
as to feel bad for these people that get
discriminated despite their (the great leaders)
efforts, but thats just about it.
ethos

I dont really see any ethos in this advertisment

But anyways this advertisement did not have a clear target audience
but mainly teens

Emotions
This advertisement is meant to provoke emotion, but not alot of emotions
maybe they’d feel a little sad when hearing how people who are daily get
affected by racism and how, because of that they might feel saddened a little
but overall there isn't that much emotions in this.
Ethos

In this poster it doesn't show much of ethos, it only shows me saying that racism is
wrong and we should all stop racism forever. It basically doesn't show any ethos.
Appealance to the audience

The reasoning behind this was

too tell everyone how racism is
still happening in this day and
age and show how everyone who
has suffered by racist comments
and who had been discriminated
due to discrimination and how it
affects them and such.

Storyboard Ad:

Arab ‘

Arabs ‘
Audience/Goal

Tv commercial for teens or kids

Towards individuals of another race (Asian, Black, Hispanic,
Indian, Arab, White, etc)
To show the worldwide problem of racism in our society.
To get people to treat others fairly, and respect their culture,
beliefs, religion, and colour of their skin.
Advertising Techniques:

Logos/Logic: 70% of Black people worldwide have experienced

racism, 43% of Asians in B.C have experienced racism/hate. 10%
of Arabs in America have been targeted by law enforcement,
and 6% have been physically attacked or injured.

Weasel Words: For some, life doesn't change but you could help
make a difference.
Advertising Techniques:

Pathos/Emotion: Fear: Some families worry that a family

member might not come home, whether that is from police
involvement, or domestic violence. Mistrust: Many people don't
trust police officers, as they see a lot of times where black
people and other races are shot or abused. An example of this is
when George Floyd had an officer kneeling on his neck, which
outraged the public.
