RACISM

1.WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE PICTURE?

I think that the image wants to express something that is totally true,
sometimes the discrimination is so great that it seems like a pandemic, and it
is very good to protest against this, since in no case should we discriminate.
2.HOW DO YOU DEFINE RACISM?

When we talk about racism we are talking about a type of discrimination,

that which occurs when a person or group of people feels hatred towards
others for having different characteristics or qualities, such as skin color,
language or place of birth. One of these cases It can appear in fear of what is
different or of people who come from other countries, due to ignorance or
lack of information about it.
3.WRITE 50 WORDS WHERE YOU TALK ABOUT A RACISM CASE?
A girl applied for a weekend job at a large clothing store. The store said it was
not hiring employees for weekends. However, a few weeks later, the girl
realized that one of her friends from her school, who is white, works in the
store. Her friend tells him that she was hired a few days ago to help out on
the weekends. At that moment the girl realized that she was discriminated
against
4.RACISM: What forms of racism exist in the world?

 Aversive racism. It is a subtle type of racism because it is

generally employed by people who are openly against racism
and racist behavior.
 Ethnocentric racism. This type of racism is based on the cultural
superiority of the group itself, which is why it assumes that other
different groups pose a cultural threat.
 Symbolic racism. Symbolic racism advocates the right to be
equal, but with nuances: the right to be equal exists, but for
specific areas or certain situations.
 Biological racism. It is the least tolerant type of racism. He
understands that one race is biologically superior to the others,
that they threaten to degenerate the race that is considered main.
How can we reduce this?

We can combat racism by raising awareness, challenging daily

discrimination and racism, denouncing all kinds of content.
