NOTE: Targets need to be moving very slowly past proximity switches to get accurate readings.
a) Ensure
12
volts
is
available
to
proximity
switch
assembly
by
connecting
red
lead
from
meter
to
red
wire
and
black
lead
from
meter

wire
b) Read
3.3V
(positive
or
negative)
by
connecting
meter
leads
to
blue
and
orange
wires
c) Also
read
3.3V
(positive
or
negative)
by
connecting
meter
leads
to
black
and
white
wires
d) When
proximity
switch
detects
target,
voltage
should
change
from
negative
to
positive
(or
vice
versa)
e) LED
Lights
on
circuit
board
and
proximity

should
alternate
when
proximity
switch
detects
target
f) Ensure
voltage
is
going
through
circuit
board
to
proximity
switch
by
connecting
meter
leads
to
brown
and
blue
wires
–
should
read
12
volts
g) Read
3.3V
(positive
or
negative)
by
connecting
meter
leads
to
blue
and
black
proximity
switch
wires
h) When
proximity
switch
detects
target,
voltage
should
change
from
negative
to
positive
(or
vice

l) Connect
red
lead
from
meter
to
