the candidates for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) for 11 public sector banks in India.

Candidates who have a graduate degree and are within the age group of 20-30 years can
apply for the IBPS PO 2022. The interested candidates can apply online for the IBPS PO
Recruitment on the official website of IBPS. To be eligible for the Mains Exam, the
candidates have to clear the IBPS PO Prelims exam. Thus, they must check the Prelims
syllabus first.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern

IBPS Mains Exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and the total exam
duration is 3 hours. Every subject in the IBPS PO Mains exam will have separate timings
and the candidate must pass/qualify each subject separately. The mode of examination will
be only online.

IBPS PO Mains Syllabus 2022 includes a total of 4 sections:

Reasoning & Computer Aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude
General / Banking Awareness

On the same day of the IBPS PO Mains exam, the candidates are also required to attempt a
separate English descriptive test which is newly introduced. The English language
descriptive test will include letter writing and essay. It covers a total of 25 marks and the
duration of the test is 30 minutes. To check the candidate’s writing skills, this English
language descriptive test is conducted.

This section in the IBPS PO Mains exam has a total of 45 MCQs (Multiple Choice
Questions). The maximum marks for this section are 60 and the duration of the section is 60

The English Language Section in the IBPS PO Mains exam has a total of 35 MCQs (Multiple
Choice Questions). The maximum marks for this section are 40 and the maximum time
allowed is 40 Minutes.

This section will test the candidates' English comprehensive reading skills, Accuracy in
