As reflected in your syllabus, your third and final Performance Assessment Output is a research-
based case study.
You are to choose a company, local, regional, national or international, that has specific financial
management issue/s. After pooling the necessary facts and information (including financial
figures, when needed), you are to analyze the cause /s of the issue and its effects to the
company’s financial management. After careful analysis, make recommendations to address the
financial management issue/s.
Below is the format of your final Performance Assessment Output

Tips in writing a research-based case study


1. Use precise words and expressions.
2. Use active rather than passive voice in writing.
3. Avoid pretentious or verbose terminology.
4. Learn the rules of punctuations (using comma, period, colon, etc) and use them
appropriately.
5. Make the paper clear, simple, and easy to read. Avoid using technical jargons.
6. Avoid being wordy or verbose. You should not say in one page what can be said in one
paragraph.
7. If you must include math, equations, tables, and graphs, make sure they are readable
