Step 1

Drill a hole on the formwork for installing the positioner. See the
hole sizes as per model of GROUTEC couplers

Step 2
Install the positioner through the hole of formwork.

Assembly the washer and Hex. nut to fix the set of positioner.
Lightly tighten the Hex. nut.

Step 4

Hand screw the threaded bar with Groutec coupler.


Step 5

Place the GROUTEC coupler over the positioner until it contacts


the side of the formwork. And properly support with chairs, etc.

Step 6

Hold the screw end with the wrench and tighten the Hex. nut
with another wrench for expand the rubber bush. Make sure
the GROUTEC coupler is properly and firmly secured in the
formwork.

Step 7
After concreting, Unscrew the Hex. nut to release the
positioner from the GROUTEC coupler.

Step 8

Remove the formwork.


Step 9
Pull out the positioner from the precast member.

Step 10

Plug the bottom end by cap.
