- RESEARCH / AREAS OF INTEREST / PROJECTS :

-Co-reference resolution and co-referential chains, anaphora, text / discourse genres, narrative point
of view construction, syntax and semantics of noun phrases. Named entities, "modified" uses of
proper nouns and named entities, figures of speech (antonomasia, metaphors…)

-Cross linguistic studies, translation studies, discourse analysis : French / English / German.
-Enunciative approach (A. Culioli’s Theory of Enunciative and Predicative Operations, among other
theoretical frameworks).
-English linguistics, general linguistics, phonetics and phonology.

-Tool-based textometry : CR Viewer and SACR (specific tools developed by B. Oberlé for annotating
and analysing Reference Chains, Strasbourg University), TXM platform (Ecole Normale Supérieure
Lyons), Hyperbase (BCL, Nice University).

-Translation : scientific articles (mineralogy, chemistry…), sports (Monte Carlo Rolex tennis masters),

-Member of the "EMPHILINE" ANR Project, 2011/2014 : Surprise in the spontaneity of emotions : a
vector for enlarged cognition description and expression of surprise. The project aimed at bridging
the gap between Emotion, Cognition and Linguistics, and stressed the unique status of surprise
among emotions, uncovering the link between surprise and epistemicity.
