PROPOSAL

What form of production do you intend on producing? (short film, music video, stop
motion animation, documentary)
I intend to produce a short film. Although it was tempting to create a stop motion
animation since I have an entire set little set and clay characters at my disposal, I
wanted to do something that would give me more experience for my final
production.

Based on the performances in your previous units, what areas do you need to improve on this time
round?
I think I need to improve my narrative skills, and so I’m aiming to have a clear and interesting story
this time round. It will take a lot of thinking but I’m sure I will get to a good conclusion for what I
want my narrative to soon.

Why have you chosen this production? What visual based skills do you feel it will help you to
develop?
I’ve chosen a short film to develop my skills using my Nikon camera which so far I have only used
for personal photography and my factual programme, and so I need more experience before my final
programme in making short films with my standard camera (my first short film project was done with
a camcorder for the found footage genre).

Will you be working individually or as part of a 2 person team? Why have you chosen this?
I will be working individually. I prefer to work like this so I can have complete creative freedom.
